Very nice motel! Clean and had everything we needed. Quiet location. Decorated and arranged very nicely! We totally loved our experience here.

Very clean and quiet motel. Excellent value. We arrived late at night, past the 11 p.m. closing of the reception desk. But the clerk waited up for us as we had made a reservation. Even though she stayed past closing time, she was very polite and friendly. Good beds, nice bathroom, and the Lindt chocolates are a nice touch! I think this is one of the best places to stay around Wawa.

Now, granted we were traveling "off season," so maybe it's all different at other times, but we felt very safe and comfortable here. The room decor is cozy and the room is clean, the water pressure was great. (If you have super long hair, just FYI the shampoo is a two in one, worked fine for me but my hair is short.) Microwave, fridge, TV, Coffee service, two water glasses, two mugs, desk and table with two chairs even wine glasses. It's what you would want to have for this kind of stop over or even a longer stay. I often forget how incredibly convenient it is to stay in a "motor lodge" style motel -- esp as I am disabled now and getting into a first floor room with my bags quickly is surely appreciated more now than when I was more mobile. The owners were accommodating -- we called the night before and she asked us to call a few hours ahead the next day to let her know when she should warm up the room, but that we didn't need to give a CC to hold a space as they were not super busy (we may have been the only guests, not entirely sure). There was a slight issue with the shower and I called to get assistance and no problem, it was just minutes before they came to help out. No complaints. Timmy's and gas are only about 5 minutes drive into Wawa proper and near the big Canada Goose sculpture which looks like during peak season there is an info center there too for tourists. It was just the right distance btwn Thunder Bay and Sudbury.

We stayed at this property on 2 occasions during our trip to Lake Superior. Both visits (about 2 weeks apart) were fantastic!!! The Parkway is located right off Hwy 17 (Trans Canada Hwy) which made for quick, easy and convenient access on our road trip. We had to drive into town to restaurants and shopping but that was alright. The room was clean, clean , clean and so nicely appointed!!! The added touch of an ice bucket and wine glasses was a welcome change from drinking our evening wine from plastic cups!!! The bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 2 of us! The little chocolates left by the coffee machine was nice! If there is anything I would change it would be the brand of in-room coffee as it was a bit bland. Other than that minor issue, we thoroughly enjoyed our stays at the Parkway Motel. A lasting impression occurred when we were leaving the motel. A lovely lady offered us a small bag of ice for our cooler. Though we declined (our ice packs were frozen and would last us until the next stop), the gesture was much appreciated!!! We would definitely stay here again and will recommend The Parkway Motel to our family and friends!!

This motel is a hidden gem just off the Trans-Canada highway at Wawa. It is the cleanest motel we have ever stayed in (we are world travellers). This motel is privately owned by a family that takes pride in their facility. The attention they pay to detail is remarkable, and reflects a commitment to comfort and quality that is not matched by larger chain motels.
